American Tragedy
This piece was created by artist Ann Laser during the pandemic, so it was inspired by conditions caused by the Covid-19 epidemic and by the civil unrest in the country. The foundation of the piece was created with used teabags. Additional layers were acrylic paint, current event clippings from magazines and other collage materials protected with a coat of acrylic varnish. The piece is on art panel wired and ready for hanging.
