Depth and energy come through in this painting. The top has multiple layers of paint which draw the viewer in and delight. Some layers have metallic copper pigments, others are light washes of color. The bottom, on the other hand, is flat and subtle with a matte cold wax finish. The middle band has metallic pewter/silver paint applied heavily for a great deal of texture. This was inspired by some deep spiritual conversations. Consequently "Angelfire" seemed appropriate as a title.
