The shot up spray paint cans caught my attention on the edge of the local shooting range. They would have never piqued my interest on a shelf in a store. Their mutilated condition remind me of aging, frailty, discards, loss of purpose, feeling useless, therefore the title "Ashes, Ashes, We All Fall Down". The work consists of two pieces, the frame and the shelf.
