This painting is inspired by artist Laurinda Stockwell’s walks in the Santa Fe Forest. The early morning light glows through the leaves and branches and makes a pattern of yellow and greens. This diptych format suggests a continuation of forest leading into thousands of acres of mountain wilderness.
