This piece was inspired by Embudo area along the Rio Grande. The contrasting swirls on top contrast so nicely with the metallic structural element on the bottom and the red stripe is just plain invigorating like a good float down the river! Painted on all sides with oil paints augmented with metallic pigments. Finished with matte finish varnish. Signed on the side so it can be hung vertically.
