The contemporary artists at ViVO are emerging from their studios and are ready to share their objectified responses to the pandemic. The resulting paintings, sculpture, mixed media, mosaic and kiln glass in this show capture the depth of the experience that we are all sharing while inspiring new hope for a future alive and well and living in our hearts.

Interpretations of a Complex World
July 30 - October 14, 2024
Looking through thousands of still frames of video to crop the perfect slice of life before laying down the first brushstrokes, Warren Keating employs an unusual and intricate process to create figurative paintings that reflect the complexity of the world around us. Photography starts Nina Glaser’s journey through her process which culminates in the creation of form as she cuts pieces of glass and other materials. Barrie Brown spends 300 hours going back and forth to the kiln as she reveals a softly dimensional landscape from powdered, colored glass. The finished work is comforting in its simplicity. These are some of the works from the nine artists in this new exhibit at ViVO Contemporary.
