A monoprint is an original, one of a kind artwork on paper. Oil-based ink was rolled with a brayer onto a plexiglass plate which was then put through the press and the ink adhered to high quality paper. The process was repeated a number of times, each time is called a drop. Each drop added to and changed the original creating the one of a kind piece. This pieces has been through the press five times. When dry the monoprint was attached to a panel using acrylic medium. Pecan-colored stain and varnish was used on the sides. The piece is wired and ready for hanging
