The inspiration for this piece, Foundation of Fire, is the moment where insurance becomes ignition. Layered surfaces, scars and sediment suggest what has been carried, buried and survived, while the red square stands as an elemental force--heat, will, and becoming. This painting reflects how inner fire is not destructive, but is foundational; forged through time, pressure and lived experience, anchoring transformation rather than consuming it.
