Life, Death, Rebirth
I became interested in incorporating used teabags in my mixed media pieces several years ago. I was inspired by the ancient symbol for Life, Death, Rebirth that I encountered while touring Newgrange, a historic site near Dublin, Ireland. I used an oil-based ink printing process to create the image on top of dried teabags that were attached to paper. The piece is floated under glass with a light wood frame. It is wired and ready for hanging.
