In this painting artist Laurinda Stockwell was inspired by Joan Mitchell's abstract landscapes but Stockwell made it her own by using a more recognizable subject matter and painting on a reflective surface. The artist used oil paint on an aluminum panel. It is framed in a white metal frame and wired on the back for easy installation.
