Mellow
The inspiration for this piece came from the teabags themselves. When dried, the natural color of the teabags were used to create a piece that has a curiously familiar yet intriguing texture and pattern. The ocher yellow acrylic under-painting reflects though the transparent organic colored teabags to produce a back-lighted effect. The sides of the piece are painted the same ocher yellow color and the piece is wired and ready for hanging.
