This painting really brightens up a room. The top is carefree and whimsical with many layers of paint applied to get the effect i was after. The middle, meanwhile, is simple and "flat" in comparison. The foreground is complicated and highly textured. Luckily I stopped at the right time with this painting and the result is very pleasing indeed. Inspired by landscape and color itself.
