Some time ago, I was roused from a half sleep to an animal sound I couldn't identify. I ran downstairs and looked out the window. There by the front door was a Red fox barking at me. We looked at each other and he walked away into the night. Encounters with wild animals are memorable and I will hold that Red Fox in my memory forever. This painting is based upon that memory. I like that we can coexist with wild animals.
