Riding a Bicycle in Paris
This contemporary figurative painting was inspired by the view from my hotel balcony in Paris of the cycling Frenchman below me. Using my signature Pixel Impressionism brush strokes to indicate the movement of the figure, I created an active, textured surface. The oil on canvas is protected from UV, dust and smoke damage by a satin finish varnish. With finished sides and wired on the back, this painting is ready to hang or it will stand up on its 1.5 inch edges to display on a bookshelf or mantel.
