The contemporary artists at ViVO are emerging from their studios and are ready to share their objectified responses to the pandemic. The resulting paintings, sculpture, mixed media, mosaic and kiln glass in this show capture the depth of the experience that we are all sharing while inspiring new hope for a future alive and well and living in our hearts.

"Serenity Place I" was inspired by trees I saw every day while living in AR. This piece is reminiscent of a beautiful place and a wonderful time in my life. I used dried teabags to create the background on panel. I began using teabags in my Mixed Media work several years ago. This lead the the creation of a world wide collaborative art experience called THE TEABAG PROJECT. The teabags are attached to the panel with acrylic medium and color is added with chalk pastel. The piece is protected with UV spray and acrylic varnish. It is wired and ready for hanging.
