Tierra Amarilla
This piece was inspired by New Mexican landscapes, especially in the O'keefe country. I dont like to get too specific, but that will suffice. It is oil applied with a pallate knife, leaving various inconsistencies which make the piece so pleasing. All edges are overlapped 1/2 inch, then finished with a tidy grey border. This makes it both sloppy and tidy at the same time! It is signed on the edge so it can be hung vertically or horizontally! It is varnished with a matte finish.
