Under the Gun
Spent bullet shells are littering the hillsides outside of Santa Fe where I hike and explore. The sheer numbers and uniform forms inspired me to use them in a very symmetrical design. Each piece of its own is titled with reference to a community concept: "You Are Here" "Aiming to Please" "Room to Breathe" "# 52" The rusted shells are waxed to prevent further deterioration. The pieces may be sold individually, $850 each, and are wired to hang.
