The contemporary artists at ViVO are emerging from their studios and are ready to share their objectified responses to the pandemic. The resulting paintings, sculpture, mixed media, mosaic and kiln glass in this show capture the depth of the experience that we are all sharing while inspiring new hope for a future alive and well and living in our hearts.

A Monoprint is a 'one of a kind' work on paper. It is composed by rolling oil-based with a brayer onto a plexiglass plate which is then used to print the image on high quality paper. This monoprint has been put through the press multiple times (called drops) to add layers of ink creating the interesting design of the piece. The monoprint is attached to a wooden panel with acrylic medium. The pecan colored stain and varnish were used to finish the sides. The piece is wired and ready for hanging
