I have been incorporating used teabags in my mixed media art for some time. I created "The Teabag Project" an interactive art project which allows people from around the world to contribute their used teabags to be included in my art. In this piece I discarded the tea, flattened the bags and used them as a background and to create texture. Collage material and acrylic paint were added to create interest and depth. The piece was finished with acrylic varnish and is wired ready for hanging.
