In April artist Laurinda Stockwell stayed in a cabin by the Pecos River and noticed that there was a willow tree just coming into leaf with that intense light green that only early spring offers. During the morning this tree seemed to glow with the light coming from behind. The Pecos River was right next to it and the combination captivated Stockwell’s imagination. This painting is framed in a black wood frame and is wired for installation.
